More bids. More VEs. More RFIs. The industry keeps optimizing for volume.
But what if you just needed fewer?
Doing less work with better outcomes was the standard for everything we released this month. Nothing here is a new module to learn, it's a gap closed in a workflow you already run.
Here's what’s new in Ediphi.
Value management without leaving your estimate
VM has often meant doing work somewhere else; a duplicated tab or a side spreadsheet.
Now value management decisions get created directly from your base bid line items within the estimate itself. It’s called Alternates, and it allows you to build "what-if" scenarios in context. Price out three roof systems against the base bid and you've got three alternates sitting next to the original, not three files you're reconciling by hand.

Historical comps that actually rank themselves
You know you've priced something like this before but "like this" is doing a lot of work.
The new Historical Pricing experience pulls real pricing data from past projects and scores it by relevance, so the strongest comps surface first and weak matches get flagged instead of mixed in as if they're equally trustworthy.

Check out the demo of Historical Pricing on our LinkedIn page.
Assemblies, cracked open
We recreated Assemblies so you can expand any assembly directly within Detailed Summary and edit quantities, unit costs, and formulas in place. The speed of assemblies stays, but all the opacity doesn't.
Watch the walkthrough video below.

UPC and your estimate math are finally in agreement
UPC products used to follow their own allocation logic, separate from your estimates', so unit costs could roll up differently depending on which side of the workflow you looked from.
Now they use the same logic. There’s no second system to reconcile against and zero rollup that doesn't match what the estimate says it should.
What's the auto-allocation logic? Read more.
Room-level detail, all the way to the deliverable
Rooms data has always been useful inside the estimate, but fragile outside it. Now, Ediphi carries over your data from Rooms directly into Excel from the Last Mile Add-in so every room-level cost lands in the report you actually hand off.
Last Mile's been the thing that gets your numbers into the format an owner actually reads. Now when they ask why a specific room costs what it does, the answer's already in the report

Introducing the Ediphi Academy
Most estimator training still happens by osmosis. You shadow whoever got there first and hope they explain it right.
Ediphi Academy is the alternative: 50+ short-form training videos, five sequenced courses, and a verifiable credential estimators can share directly to LinkedIn. It's a structured path from first login to certified power user, one your whole team can work through, not just whoever happened to be onboard first.

What we released this month is a step toward an estimate that needs less checking, less reconciling, less second-guessing, not a bigger one to manage.
We send out a monthly product newsletter to let you know about all releases in Ediphi. Subscribe here if you want it in your inbox (no spam, we promise).
